We are so thankful for all of our family and friends who made Christmas so special this year! Things felt a little more like Christmas this year than ever before 
with having our own house to celebrate in! How exciting to decorate the yard for the first time, to put up a tree that isn't half the size of me, and most importantly to read the story of the birth of Jesus before we opened any presents Christmas morning. We had a Christmas eve service at church that was wonderful! Then we ran off to Jaime's place for our gift exchange there. We had a blast watching "Christmas Vacation". We read about the birth of Jesus at our house, opened presents, then had breakfast. Adam thought that his DVD player was the best, however he didn't know what was to come at my parents. He'd been talking about how "God's trying to tell us that we need a flat screen!" all season due to the number of deals he kept seeing. I was home sick one day and not all there, and secretly bought him a flat screen HD TV. WHAT WAS I THINKING? So my parents and grandparents went in with me once I realized that I was out of my mind to buy that for Adam myself. But then, they all surprised me when my brother decided to go in on it too! You'll have to watch the video to see what they did!

Now, he's becoming a normal child and is fighting us on it! Great! The 2's are beginning!
