My birthday

So this year was the best birthday as a Waldron ever! On Saturday, we went out to eat with my parents at Olive Garden! It was so good, and then Jaime and Ben came over to hang out later that night. At church, I was surprised by a couple people bringing me very thoughtful gifts for my special day. Our pastor's bday is 2 days after mine, so they had a cake for us and everything. Then, Adam and I relaxed until it was time for Adam to take me out for dinner. We dropped Brayden off with his Aunt Jaime and Uncle Ben, and we were off to dinner (which was hard to leave Bubby, but we need our date time sometimes still). He took me to Oregano's for dinner, and then we were off to my surprise! I had no idea what it was. I thought maybe we were going horse back riding since I was told to wear comfortable clothes. But as we passed South Mountain and headed for Tempe, I had a feeling we were going to Tempe Town Lake. I realized I was right when we pulled into Tempe Town Beach (I think that's what it was called). We had never been there before, so this made it much more exciting. There's a train that passed by right as we got there, airplanes were flying overhead, there was a children's water play area, and much more. In the lake were people boating on paddle boats, so I thought for sure that was what we were going to do. However, it was even better than that. Adam rented a runnabout boat for us to relax on the lake and watch the sunset! A runnabout boat is motored, but it's very slow and relaxing. It was a lot of fun! As you can see, there's always time to be funny! Definitely a memory I will never forget. He's so good to me!
