Christmas was the best first Christmas our family could have together! We opened presents under our Christmas tree the morning of Christmas Eve. I was presently surprised by what I wanted most; 2 new pairs of Express jeans and a nice sweater from Adam! I've been so frustrated because hardly any of my clothes fit anymore, so Adam bought me the greatest gift! Brayden was given a Busy Ball Choo Choo Train among many other things! Adam was given a nice new watch and a shirt. He's been wanting a new watch for quite some time now. We headed to my parents house to play games and open gifts with Grammie, Pappie, and Uncle Trent. Brayden sure is intrigued by his Uncle Trent! He just stares at him! It's so cute. Then Christmas morning we headed off to Chicago to spend Christmas with the Waldron side! We had a wonderful time there, and the weather was not too bad! I was soooo exicted! We went down to Muncie to stay with Josh and Janie for a night. It was really neat to see Brayden play with all of his cousins. He was so into crawling around and playing with all the toys that he didn't really even want to stop to eat. He was having so much fun! Then Wendy, Michael, and Trevor drove down and we were able to spend a couple hours with them as well! Trevor's so big, and Brayden had a great time crawling through the tunnel with his cousins. Michael finally was able to meet Brayden and Trevor could finally play with Baby Trevor. We headed back to Highland where we met together with the Metzger side! We were so fortunate to see almost everyone this Christmas!!! The sad news: Brayden got a bad cold for the first time while we were gone and the doc diagnosed him with his first ear infection. He's getting better now, but he was miserable for a few days. He scared us on the way home from the airport because he was crying a ton (probably because his ears were popping) and all of that drainage was going straight into his throat. He kept gagging and choking on his drainage and I of course was scared for him. Once we got him out of the car though and settled down, he stopped choking so much and then slept pretty well. Adam and I took turns holding him upright that night (even though we got home after 3am on New Years morning due to flight delays). Yes we were so tired, but you do what you have to do! He's doing much better though and is almost back to normal. We hope your Christmas was just a wonderful as ours. We love you all!
