Christmas fun

We have done a few things lately to get into the Christmas spirit! We were able to go to Phoenix 1st Assembly's Christmas program with my mom and brother. Tate and B had pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus before the show. Of course, our tree is up and Brayden and Daddy put lights up outside too. We're so excited for family to be in town, and coming soon!

Tate's Newborn Pics

Well, things are getting easier for me to balance with 2 boys now, so I have a few minutes while Tate sleeps to update the blog! Yeah! So Tate was born on Sept. 15th around 3:30 pm, weighing 8lbs 9 oz., and was 20.5 inches long. He's a big boy and will probably be a football player someday. He's much thicker and chunkier than Brayden ever was. He's a sweet little man, who has lots of tummy trouble. However, we just bought Dr. Brown' bottles today so I'm anxious to see if it helps. He's such a porker I have to supplement with formula. I'll post a slideshow a little later with some of our personal pics along with the newborn pics Jen took. THANKS JEN! They are awesome!

2 or less more weeks!

Well, less than 2 weeks to go. I'm thinking he'll come late this week or early next week. At least I hope I don't have to wait until the 19th... The symptoms are looking good for him to come early, but you still never know. Tate's room is ready, the bag is packed, and I'm ready more than anything else. I took a picture of my belly yesterday in the same outfit as last time and it took me out of denial. I really didn't think I was that much bigger here at the very end than last pregnancy... Needless to say, you'll know which picture is this time around easily. I'm bummed! Tate better not be bigger than Brayden was or I'm in trouble for this natural delivery! Say prayers for me!

Celebrating the coming of Tate!

Here are some pics of Tate's room. It's pretty much done! My mom made the curtain on the changing table, the new cover for the bouncer seat, painted the letters above the crib, and put together the picture frames on top of the shelves. She's been busy but having so much fun! She's trying to teach me to use the sewing machine as well... You can click on the title of this post to see the shower slideshow as well.
